Aspiring foreign correspondent

I am a Master's student in Journalism at the University of Groningen, after completing my BA at VU Amsterdam and studying journalism and politics at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. My thesis explores how American journalists covered Trump’s 2024 campaign. In February, I will start an internship at RTV Drenthe.

As a board member of the Dutch Association of Journalists (NVJ), I advocate for young journalists and press freedom. I also edit for Red Pers and help organize the 2026 FEJS Annual Conference on war journalism.

I am especially interested in foreign correspondence and investigative reporting.
